Root Canal Treatment

First of all, radiography is taken and the problem tooth is detected with intraoral examination. If the tooth is living, it is ensured that sensitivity in teeth and surrounding tissues are removed by local anesthesia. After old restorations in teeth, if any, are removed, cavities in enamel and dental layer are cleaned and space to reach dental pulp is formed. Operation length is detected by using electronic devices and radiography. By using rotating tool systems, infected dental layers and microorganisms in root canal are destroyed and removed. Meanwhile, microorganisms are destroyed by various root canal disinfectants. In cases where there is no infection in root apex, canal therapy may be completed in a single session. In cases where there is infection in root apex or the tooth is necrosis, a special medicine is placed in root canals and rested for one week. If no flix is seen at the end of this period, treatment may be ended. In persistence cases, this application may be repeated for some weeks.  When there remains no infectious symptom in canals, canal root therapy is completed by filling the root canals in an impermeable way.
